    1. You can always tell who the murder victim will be -- it's whoever everyone hates! Or the person who just had a huge argument in front of a group or the one who has been mistreating lots of people lately. In this 5th installment of the Zoe Donavan series, the jerk is a banker who has been including shady wording in bank loans that allow him to foreclose quickly on properties leaving the owners out of luck and homeless. Zoe stumbles onto the dead body after seeing a man in a bunny suit running awa [...]

    6. ACTUALLY A 3.5 READ FOR ME - WISH WE HAD THAT OPTIONZoe runs an animal shelter called The Zoo. 8. Mr. Blakely, the unpopular banker is murdered and Zoe Donovan sees the Easter bunny running from the scene. She needs to figure out who killed the banker, keep her animal rescue center functioning, support her unmarried parents who are about to become parents for the second time, and maintain a relationship with boyfriend Zak. This is the fifth book in the Zoe Donovan mystery series. The pacing was uneven, but overall it was a quick read.I received this book through a random giveaway. Although e [...]

    9. Easter time has arrived in Ashton Falls. The town is putting on an Easter play. Charles Blakey, the unsavory banker of the town decides he wants to be Jack Frost wearing tights in this play. So the play must be re-written.Zoe Donovan operates a private animal shelter. There are dogs, cats, rabbits even a bear cub at her shelter. She does a favor for her friend, only to discover a dead body and see an Easter Bunny running away from the crime scene. The bodyis that of the banker. Who could be resp [...]

    10. Babies, babies, and more babiesI loved this book, mainly because of all the babies. Puppies, kittens, bears, or humans, babies are precious. But of course it was the mystery that kept me reading into the night. This was another good one, with many suspects and surprises. There are also a few romances blossoming to warm your heart. Kathi Daley never disappoints.

    11. Excellent cozy, lovely characters, very interesting crime.I seldom come across a book so well written! It was a joy to read. Usually my proofreading brain can't shut off and completely enjoy a story as I did this one. This is the 1st of this series that I've read, but the 5th in the series. I can't wait to get the rest!

    12. I received this book as a freebie to get to know the author. I enjoyed it and the style of writing, but wish I had started at the beginning of the series because I felt like I was coming into the story part way through it. I would have rated it a 4 otherwise. I will definitely read more of this series - starting from the beginning.

    13. Fun ReadI enjoy the Zoe Donovan series. Thanks, Kathi Daley for another fun read. I look forward to downloading more soon.

    14. Great seriesI love this series more every book I read. Its hard to put it down once you start to read it. Love it.

    17. Big Bunny Bump Off: A Zoe Donovan Mystery with Recipes, by Kathi Daley (Katherine Daley, 2014, 187 pages, $6.99)A Russian Contemporary Mystery Novel with Recipes?Do you like long, convoluted Russian novels? If so, you will love this shorter contemporary mystery. So contemporary that each chapter is titled with the day and date of the story AND it is this year -2014! How cool is that? 18. I'm getting addicted to this series. The mysteries aren't always the best, but it is nice seeing the people grow and change. What I enjoyed:* Nice to see our favorite characters. Both Zoe's mom and Jeremy's babies are close to making their appearance. Zoe and Ellie are figuring things out in their respective relationships.* The Easter play sounded very cute (view spoiler)[especially once they axed Jack Frost (hide spoiler)]What could have been better:* Not sure why Zoe even started investigating [...]

    19. In this installment of the Zoe Donovan cozy mystery series, the town is putting on an Easter play. Unfortunately, the big bad town banker, decides he wants to play Jack Frost, complete with a costume with tights. When Zoe goes to the bank after hours to drop off some papers for her friend, Ellie, she sees the Easter Bunny running from the back of the bank and the banker shot dead in the vault. I liked the interactions between Zoe and her very pregnant mother in this book. Although Zoe was raised [...]

    20. Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books1 star This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4 stars I really [...]

    21. As always, Zoe Donovan finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation, whether she wants to or not. This time, she stumbles on the murdered body of a banker, and was a witness to the possible murderer leaving the scene of the crime through the bank's back door. Unfortunately, her description is that of a large rabbit - that is someone dressed up in an Easter Rabbit's costume complete with large head mask. Helping the sheriff find the culprit in this case is going to be a challenge, but on [...]

    22. Spring has arrived in Ashton Falls and with it comes new babies, new business ventures, a bunch of bunnies to be rescued and placed with families and murder. The unliked local banker is murdered and Zoe sees a suspect fleeing in an Easter Bunny costume. Her parents are expecting a baby, as is her business partner's girlfriend. Then there is the matter of placing 60 some bunnies in new homes. Zoe and her wacky family and friends are again a please to visit. The murder solving is entertaining and [...]

    23. Enjoying the characters from 1 through 5 in the series. get to know a little more with each book. This can be read as a standalone book.

    24. I enjoyed this book. The characters are likeable, and their interacting relationships are believable. The love interest Zakwho wouldn't love him? The mystery was definitely interesting, the Easter bunny committing murder? The only drawback I had is that it seemed the murder investigation seemed to get a little lost with all the births that were happening, but the story was so interesting that it wasn't that big a deal. I will definitely continue on with this series.

    25. I loved seeing how this books timeline isn't far from where the last book ended so we can see how things progress in some of the storyline while being provided with a new story too. I found this so funny!- " a dead Jack Frost and a murderous Easter Bunny." I mean how does she come up with this stuff? It's a circus- babies, costumed characters, bunnies and bears! The ending went a very different way.

    26. It's OK. It probably would have been better if I hadn't started from book 5 in the series, but that's what happens with free offers! Some of the "conversations" were long winded and added nothing to the story. Having said that, it was a light read. Would I buy any more in the series? Probably not. Would I read read any more free versions? Maybe

    27. Book Five in the Zoe Donovan Series. With an expectant mom (who had her first child, Zoe, 25 years ago!), expectant dog, a mean-spirited banker, a murder suspect only seen wearing an adult bunny suit, more romancewell, this just feels like another great cozy read! (Don't forget to stay for the recipes at the end of the book)!

    28. Read With Some EnjoymentI enjoyed this book quite a bit, the main problem problem I had with it was the villain in the piece. He was so very evil that I didn't care who did him in. I wanted to do it myself! I did enjoy the humor in the book, especially the pageant rehearsal scenes. Jack Frost got what was coming to him. After a long hard winter I am waiting for spring

    29. Big Bunny Bump Off by Kathi Daley was another fun and easy read. It is really good to see how Zoe is growing up as this series progresses. Because of the small town setting Zoe always seems to know exactly who she needs to contact to get the information she needs to solve the case. The plot was quickly paced and there was enough twists and turns to keep me guessing.

    30. Funny quick light cozy mystery. Though I am not familiar with this series I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction of all the major and minor characters. As in all cozy mysteries there is the delightful added bonus of romance in the air as well. The mystery takes place that someone dressed in A Easter Bunny costume is seen leaving the scene of the murder of a very shady bank.
