    1. but I want to make a point to Wrox Press. While the book is a valuable resource in terms of offering a fairly comprehensive overview as is commonly the case with the Beginning series, there are two cases in which there is a glaring lack of professionalism. The most egregious of these is the chapter on FML. One of the authors has a company that produces a software tool that (ostensibly) allows you to make quick work of FML. This author wrote the chapter on FML. Surprise - the entire chapter i [...]

    2. This book covers all the new technologies and has its pulse on the new wave of web programming. The book is expertly researched and organized. I have not been able to find a text that covers all the topics (from HTML to XHTML to XML and including Java, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, etc.). It's more of an Advanced Web Pages book or Beyond Simple HTML book. And it is very up-to-date.My one complaint is that the publisher must have been rushed to get the book to press. It is team written and diff [...]

    3. This comprehensive, up-to-the-minute text contains a wealth of useful information but it is definitely not for beginners. I would recommend a fairly good knowledge of HTML and some acquaintance with Javascript before reading this book. If you have that background, you will find this book both readable and fascinating.

    4. As a webdesigner coming from HTML 3.2, it is not only quite good see a book written by the people knowing most of markup, but also I liked the easy to understand and clearly written approach to the idea behind this XHTML thing. I think, this book will help me as well as it will help one learning how to do webpages.

    5. I already bought a lot of Computer-Books. But the Guys at Wrox really know what they are talking about. Because XHMTL is the forthcoming Standard in Webdesign, i highly recommend this Book to everyone who is into Webdesign. It is clearly written and the examples are (as always) nice and very useful. All i'm wondering now is, if there's a possibility to subscribe to Wrox-Press to get all the New Books ! Buy it !
